God's Truth's

If we say we are believer's.. then what do we believe? Or better yet, where does our belief stop? I think a lot of people have a hard time believing the truths of the Bible. What the bible teaches us and tells us to do is just not a suggestion, it is instruction! When I hear believers say" God doesn't love me." Or "I don't deserve to be forgiven, I have done to many bad things!" It makes me wonder what they truly believe. For example this Bible verse from the book of Hebrews says..

NKJV HEBREWS 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

This such a powerful piece of scripture! It specifically tells us to approach God with boldness, ask him for mercy and he will be merciful. Combine that with what Jesus said in:

JOHN 14:13 NKJV

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

So when you approach God, do it through his son Jesus so that it will be given unto you. Then you can tell people how God showered mercy on you. This will glorify both God and the son! These truths of the Bible we need to apply to our everyday lives, to live the way God wants us to live. That is to live in the spirit and not in the flesh.

Psalms 34:14

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
